About Kilos

Kilos was born in the middle of 2024, not in a studio or an office—but in the parking lot of a gym. Three friends fresh out of high school—Louis, Jesse, and Nano—were trying to figure out what came next. Like a lot of people our age, we needed a way to create income, but more than that, we needed something that meant something. Fashion was the common ground. It was what we talked about, what we paid attention to, and what we cared about. So we decided to build something of our own.

With just $200 between us, we created our first shirts. No investors. No shortcuts. Just belief, effort, and risk. Every dollar we made from those first pieces went right back into the brand—more shirts, better quality, bigger vision. The name Kilos stuck because it represented weight: the weight of discipline, pressure, growth, and progress. We ran with it, and we still do.

None of us come from wealth or privilege. We come from hard work, long hours, and the understanding that nothing is handed to you—you earn it. Kilos became our way of pushing past limits, statistics, and expectations placed on where we come from or who we’re supposed to be. What started as a way to survive turned into a platform to inspire.

As the brand grew, so did the community around it. One moment that stuck with us was when a customer told us, “Every time I put on your clothes, I feel more motivated to do something. It makes me want to keep going.” That’s when we knew Kilos was bigger than clothing. It became a mindset.

Kilos is for the ones building from nothing. For those carrying weight and choosing to move anyway. This is more than fabric—it’s proof of work.
